The journey combines paved mountain and jungle roads with short off-road sections, including jungle tracks, sandy stretches, and occasional river crossings. This balance offers an adventurous ride without extreme technical difficulty, allowing access to remote areas where the jungle takes over the landscape.
A highlight of the tour is the visit to the Diamante Native Community, home of the Yine Indigenous people, located along the Alto Madre de Dios River in the Manu region—an area traditionally reached by boat.
Set in the low Amazon rainforest at around 200 meters above sea level, the route offers a striking contrast between the Andes and the jungle. Designed and operated by Big Trail Cusco, this motorcycle tour from Cusco to the Amazon blends scenic riding, light off-road adventure, cultural encounters, and true jungle exploration.
