Taming the Andes to the Jungle (Quillabamba-Lares: 3D/2N)

We start the tour early at 7:00 a.m., from Cusco we go to the Sacred Valley, after arriving in Ollantaytambo, we will have enough time to visit the archaeological complex of Ollantaytambo, and this impressive archaeological complex will be explained in greater depth by our professional guide. we continue with the ascent towards Malaga and then descend to the Cuzco jungle, in Ollantaytambo we will have lunch, and after 1 more hour we will arrive at Quillabamba, city of eternal summer, where we will spend the night.

• Extra A (Optional Full Day): Exotic Coffee Route and Cocoa Chuncho in the Cuzqueña jungle: Early in the morning, we go along the coffee route to the Chaco village, this route has leafy forests, coffee plantations, banana crops, mangoes , pineapples, we will also have a lot of fauna, if we are lucky we will see the cock of the rock, our breakfast will have a special guest, the exotic Chaco coffee, internationally recognized and awarded, we will also participate in its harvesting, production and tasting process, after a super energetic breakfast, we go along the Cocoa route, in 1 hour we will arrive at Chocofinca, in this beautiful place we will see, the process of obtaining pure chocolate based on the desired Cocoa Chuncho, we will also take the opportunity to have lunch, in the afternoon we will return to the city of Quillabamba, depending on the weather we can take a dip in the famous Sambaray Spa.

We say goodbye to this tropical paradise, we advance through this almost perfect climate through zigzag curves we will climb from Quellouno to Quebrada Honda, where we can take advantage of it to have lunch, we will continue climbing along a paved road that seems drowned by the flora as we go forward we will see that the trees decrease in size then we will be close to Lares, After so many curves, a bath in the thermal waters of Lares will be perfect, we will spend the night in Lares, with the option of repeating one more bath the next day.

This day we will see each other again with the eastern mountain range at more than (4200 masl),, on the way down we can visit Ancasmarca, a rare pre-Inca archaeological complex, and then go down to Calca 3800 masl, we will have a delicious lunch in Pisac town, After lunch we will have enough time to visit the archaeological complex of Pisac that is located on a mountain, from Pisac to Cusco it is approx. 30 minutes, we will finish at our agency in the city of Cusco.
