The Peruvian´s death road (KARKATERA) is a new tourist attraction highly recommended by many riders who have visited this place, our circuit has been carefully designed to offer you a super circuit that combines one of the deepest canyons in the world such as the Apurimac (3,000 meters ) and the Peruvian death road (Karateka) that will leave you absolutely shocked, this tour also includes a visit to one of the most beautiful lagoons of Cusco (Humantay).

Itinerary

Day 1 Cusco - Apurimac Canyon – Peruvian’s death road – Abancay - Curahuasi: 315 km/ 5h riding

We leave early from Cusco 3,350 m.a.s.l., we will follow the highway to Lima, after 2 hours we will arrive at the Cunyac bridge 1730 m.a.s.l., from the Apurímac Canyon, we will continue towards the town of Curahuasi. Along the way, we will enjoy beautiful Andean landscapes. After 2 hours, we will arrive in Abancay, and after 1 more hour, we will reach the Karkatera tunnels, also known as the ‘Peruvian Death Road.’ In this impressive place, we will take photos and videos. After our visit, we will return to the town of Curahuasi, where we will spend the night.

Day 2 Curahuasi – Mollepata – Humantay lagoon - Cusco: 190 km / 4 h riding

Our destination for the day will be the beautiful Humantay Lagoon, for which we will depart from Curahuasi to Mollepata. We will leave the motorcycles at Saraypampa and begin a 1-hour walk to the Humantay Lagoon. After our visit, we will continue to Mollepata, where we will enjoy a delicious lunch. After lunch, we will head towards the city of Cusco
