Overview

The sacred valley of the Incas on a motorcycle is an unforgettable experience, this valley is located between (2700 m.a.s.l. to 2800 m.a.s.l.), the sacred valley is considered sacred by the Wilkamayu river that irrigates its lands, Wilkamayu means sacred river, the Incas (Quechuas ) believed that everything that was in the sky was represented on earth, they believed that the milky way was a celestial river (CHASKA MAYU), and joining stars formed animals, these animals were represented in the sacred valley. The land extremely rich in minerals makes the sacred valley a paradise for corn, potatoes, quinoa, for this reason in the sacred valley you can find the largest grain corn in the world, in addition Peru has more than 3500 varieties of potatoes, many of them originating from the Sacred Valley.

Itinerary

Day 1Cusco - Valle Sagrado - Cusco: 200 km / 5h riding

The tour starts in Cusco, more specifically in our office, where the motorcycles and your professional guide will be waiting for you, the first stop point will be in Chinchero (3700masl) Chinchero has a beautiful archaeological center, and this town is also considered a very traditional town. and with a living culture because many of its inhabitants still use their typical black and red suit, we continue towards the sacred valley this time we will arrive at Moray (3550masl) Moray is an impressive and unique archaeological complex, it has circular terraces in funnel-shaped, for many they were laboratories, but most likely they were places that served as a temple for the Pachamama, to make offerings to her. Then we go to Salineras de Maras, a beautiful place to take some exceptional photos, our lunch will be in the city of Urubamba 2800(masl), then we will continue to Ollantaytambo located in the lowest part of the valley, but it is one of the most impressive archaeological centers after this guided tour in Ollantaytambo, we will return to the city of Cusco.
